Rockingham County and Reidsville

Think there is lot of that wanting to keep it rural and small town vibes. Don't think surrounding counties of metros have much of a choice as time goes along. Think smaller towns can keep large developments out. However, certain towns will definitely incorporate large developments. It is a good and bad side to things with that.

Looking at the good side of things. If Rockingham County focused on developing Reidsville. Tapped into the economic gains it can achieve. Increase growth. Could use the funds from that to better serve the community with schools and social services.

The bad is influx of more folks will take awhile for everything to catch up.

Definitely miss opportunity with the Casino being built. Then Greensboro area always growing. From outside perspective frequent the area for school. The locals all see to go out of the county or state to shop/so activities never stay within the County. Just seems like losing money to better the County.
