I'm a new father to a 5 year old and a 2 year old. I don't know how I'd handle the situation now... but I'd recommend that you show your kid all the love you have. When I was in high school, I'd engage in riskier and riskier behavior to do whatever I wanted. I wouldn't condone this behavior at 16, but you're gonna have to stay on top of it...
