Roofing repair lead times

They're not a small outfit either (Top Kat). At one point they said that "half of their 11 crews were down with COVID", which, yeah, I understand that causes delays getting the job done, but with 11 crews you would have thought one of them could have been reassigned to this job because, you know, newborn baby, sleeps erratic hours and the last thing parents want is a troupe of people on the roof making as much noise as possible.

I also loved that they quoted me for "edge protection", which ended up being harness points screwed into the top of the roof. They're wearing harnesses, but never once did I see one actually attached to the mount points.
