Russia now says that it has deported nearly one million Ukrainians to its territory

11 million people in Ukraine are of Russian descent or have family in Russia. The Ukraine nation is a combination of many ethnic backgrounds and nationalities. Voting records show that about a third of the country was pro-Russia, another third pro-EU and finally third wanting to stay as independent as possible. This is why Zelenskyy has used the war to get rid of his biggest political rivals that the Ukraine people voted for, as it goes against the narrative that their country is united against Russia and that no one would choose to be evacuated from an active war zone to Russia.

So when people say "They are being forcibly moved to Russia, it's a genocide." How many of them people were the 11 million who consider themselves to be ethic Russians or people with Russian family? and what is any country to do with civilians in a war zone? Leave them there to be blown up, i guess? that worked for USA after all as they got away with hundreds of thousands dead without anyone calling that a genocide. The US killed thousands of Civilians in the first few weeks of Iraq war.

By the definition most Redditors are using here, every war is a genocide.

What country doesn't evacuate people from an active war zone in a conflict? (other than the US who just bombs the shit out of civilians indiscriminately, apparently given the over 200,000 confirmed civilians deaths in Iraq with estimates of over a million) The US among others have kidnapped people from their home countries without national media calling them out.

Reddit where throwing around baseless statements of concentration camps when there has been no news saying there is any gets you upvoted like a good little flathead. If you think this is anything like the holocaust, you're a fking idiot and its a insult to the Jewish people who went through that. This is just people evacuated from a war zone like any EU country would do in a war and as other Redditors have stated they are allowed to leave Russia. Let's neglect to mention the fact that 11 million Ukrainians have family in Russia or may consider themselves as ethic Russians.

The Russian Government and their commanders have been treating civilians in certain areas as hostile, as per the recordings where Russian soldiers were turning on their commanders over orders to shoot civilians. If they don't do it the Commanders use Chechen enforcers to execute them. Now that's a war crime and borderline genocide but not any different to what US does. They just bomb areas not caring if civilians are there knowing no one will call them out on it.
