Russian oligarch says he's 'appalled' by British police as squatters occupy London mansion for nearly 20 hours

I am reading that he is friends with Putin. That doesn't mean he condones war or violence. In fact, in a country where holding up a blank sign will get you arrested, I am not sure how this fellow would show his disapproval of the war besides private phone calls, which we wouldn't be able to see. I believe in innocent until proven guilty, and I don't see how this guy is involved in the war. Sounds like this guy was abusing workers, for example, which I will absolutely condemn.

I understand your reply to the Greek thing. Sounds like you believe once someone has a certain amount money they should give it to those in need instead of using it for pleasure. On a smaller scale, the philosopher Peter Singer would argue buying a fancy pair or shoes or going to watch a movie in theaters is immoral, and the money ought to be donated to charity. To the people who truly believe that and live by their beliefs, I applaud you.

Encouraging property damage of someone who it can't be said had anything to do with the situation of those refugees, I find that wrong, but I appreciate the chance to have learnt about your views. Thank you
