I have a very personal story for you.

Physicians working for the US government stole my grandmother from my family.

She checked herself into a psychiatric ward for postpartum depression. Without consent, physicians working for the CIA locked her in solitary confinement and kept her dosed on a rotating cocktail of paralytics, psychedelics, dissociatives, sensory deprivation, and extreme electroshock therapy.

They taped interviews with her while on these cocktails of drugs and then while she was locked up, they replayed loops of her voice saying things she couldn't remember every saying.

This is the motherfucker who tortured my grandma - a Canadian citizen - while working for the CIA. My grandpa spent the rest of his life taking care of her, and my mother never knew who her mother actually was. After half a year of solitary confinement on those cocktails of drugs, combined with the electroshock therapy, she was a shell of who she once was.

So... please explain to me how the US is any better than China.
