Sarah Silverman admits she made up wage gap story even after she called out specific employer.

Yeah, I feel like people are looking for a reason to shit on Amy Schumer. They keep pointing out it was a speech at a gala or something, so it wasn't her stand up routine. The thing is, when people hire a comedian for a speech at something, the comedian is going to bring pieces of stand up to the podium. It won't be their tight 5, it will be jokes they probably know won't get huge laughs but might get a few chuckles here and there. They can't do their routine but they can still do material.

Knowing comedy - I can't take much of their stuff seriously. Even in interviews it's hard to tell what's an act and what's real. Look at Eric Andre. Dude will talk hard truths one second, then go back to his character the next. The lines are blurred.

I imagine Amy's story is just super exaggerated. Dude was probably very drunk but I doubt he "passed out multiple times" or whatever. Part of her schtick is shock comedy.

I donno, I've gone on long enough. This went from a 2 cent comment to one where a loan had to be taken out.
