Scottish Independence Referendum: Yes: 47% No: 53% | If the UK leaves the EU:Yes: 50% No: 50% | No-deal exit from the EU: Yes: 52% No: 48%

Yeah, I doubt they're true figures.

  • It's well-known that Cybernats are amongst the most virulent when it comes to flooding polls to further their own ends. It's nothing new - a number of polls showed "leave" ahead in the run up to the 2014 referendum, but in the end "stay" won by a 10-point margin reflected by the more realistic (read: not more or less organised by the SNP themselves) polls.
  • This comes during a short window of increased oxygen for the SNP in the run-up to their conference, with Nicola Sturgeon getting more airtime in the past week carping on about Indyref 2.
  • If there was a second (Scots Indy) referendum you'd have the increasingly popular Ruth Davidson spearheading the "stay" vote, yet in the scheme of things she's been quiet over the past week as have most of the Scottish Conservatives.

This is just another one of those strangely convenient polls that drops midway through the conference of the political party calling for the thing it suggests could happen.
