I don’t think that their motivations are as simple as malice. They just look at the world with Sneako in it and the world without Sneako in it and come to the conclusion that the world without Sneako is probably a better world, and they’re probably right on that - at least when it comes to his current form, I think that a pretty compelling case can be made that he’s a net negative with potential to get even worse.

But instead of doing the outreach necessary to debunk Sneako’s views they try to do the easiest thing, which is to cancel him. It’s like a doctor trying to deal with the danger caused by a broken, infected finger by cutting off the whole forearm.
