The function of a watch is to display the time, and you might say that from a human perspective, that’s the purpose of it. But there is no ultimate purpose of a watch.

Well first of all we’re comparing inanimate objects created by people to living things, but fine, I get the point.

This just feels like word games that I don’t care to play. You seem to think there’s no objective purpose to life, I think the objective purpose seems to be the continuation of life, as that’s really the only thing that unites all of life and it’s the thing that life has been training itself to get better at throughout time.

But it seems like your questioning to my belief was all a dialogue tree set up for you to go “well actually there is no purpose.” Why not start there next time?
