Do you secretly judge your friends for their views on money?

Yes, my friend constantly complains that she is broke but is constantly buying expensive things and doing expensive projects to their house. She works part time (about 10k a year). Her husband makes about 100k. MCOL area. However, you would think they have money coming out of their ass with all the things they buy- newly built home, vacations for them and their kids, $5k custom closets, new cars, finished their entire basement, new floors, finished the garage, new gazebo, pool, patio furniture, landscaping. However, she puts everything on credit cards and transfers the balance or does the “zero interest for X years” payment plans but then scrambles at the last minute to pay them off before interest kicks in. They also cashed out retirement savings for a pool and a fence. Her husband usually has to pay off her credit cards when they become out of control. The reason it is frustrating to hear about is because she also shames other people who don’t prioritize their home / decor and is a constant one-upper about anything material. I have tried to gently tell her to not touch retirement savings (when she has asked me for advice of course), but other than that I keep my thoughts to myself. It is honestly hard to watch though and I am concerned for her and her husband’s retirement/future.
