Semi-automatic rifle fire during Dallas protests, 7/7/2016

I'm not justifying what these assholes say about cops, but the fact of the matter is that cops have spent too much time killing civilians and harmless suspects in this country and got away with it with stiff punishment or nothing at all. It therefore gives cops more incentive to be a bunch of disrespectful and trigger-happy cops with little to no harsh punishment. Is that the idea of America? It's more like what you expect from a third-world dictator nation.

Civilians and suspects in this country have gotten more harsh punishment than cops would have. The recent events in LA and MN is proof of it and it doesn't help the image of law enforcement at all. The public wanted accountability for the law enforcement in the same meted to non-LEOs and it doesn't look like the law doesn't really apply to the cops at all. Cops need to realize they are there to protect the community and use more reasonable judgement and not let our attitudes adjust to their procedures. Otherwise, you get incidents like this video the OP posted.
