Shots fired at Dallas protests

Tomorrow I'm going to wake up to a new world. These shootings by these men in Dallas, the officers that lost their lives, Sterling and Castile, will echo in racial arguments for years to come, and when I wake up the next morning the world will have chosen a side. People like Hillary and Trump will polarize to left and right and it will be a civil war, but it won't be one fought with guns, knives, weapons, it will be a media war. I can already see the twisted, fucked up logic.

"Police are scoundrals, they deserved it for their crimes that went unpunished. Michael Brown, Sterling, even as far back as King - this is vengence."

"Black men are violent. You can expect a policeman to be light on the trigger if they are capable of doing stuff like this."

No matter what, the world will shift towards hatred and prejudice. And I wish it wouldn't. I really, really wish we'd ignore the who's right and who's wrong arguments, because if we keep arguing about that bullshit there will be no one left. I wish we'd treat this instead of at the effect, but at the cause. I wish, I wish, I wish. I wish.
