The negative stigma surrounding the idea that a non-human intelligence can/has/is visiting earth is rooted in what can best be described as a white supremacy-centric mindset... The philosophy that "if white men haven't accomplished and formally acknowledged something, it must be impossible, because absolutely nothing can possibly surpass them."

Literally every other culture around the earth has breadcrumbs, art and history detailing an otherworldly presence interacting with humans and it's only under the white supremacist system that the knee jerk reaction to any mention of "aliens" became "nuh uh cuz if der wuz aliemz we'd kno about dem and since we can't travel fast enuff to reach other stars, dat means no one else can either, therefore aliemz is fake and you're a weirdo dummy for thinking otherwise."

It's more ridiculous to think there's no other intelligent life in our indescribably large universe than to think there's life flitting around exploring the breadth and width thereof.

It's time to put all that bullshit aside and objectively study the phenomenon that is, without a doubt, happening around the world.
