[Serious] What's the creepiest TRUE story that happened to you or someone you know?

When I was 11, my mother moved into this trailer park that used to be a public pool park. It had closed down after a drowning. Our trailer was located on the left and was the last one. I was so excited about the new place. The first day I decided to go look around outside.

The first thing I noticed was this muddy and molded water that was collecting at the end. There was old concrete with faded old number, (at this time I didn't know of the old pool park). I mentioned it my mom and she told me to stay away from it. I asked her why was it sticking from underneath the trailer and what was it.

This was a three bedroom place, it was my three brothers and I. The youngest was about one, so he slept in my mom's room. I had my own room and my other brothers shared. I never slept in my room, my mom didn't even bothered to put a bed in it. It wasn't just me, my brothers refused to sleep in their room also. So the three of us slept in the living room every night. This lead to us getting into trouble. Every morning, our mom claimed we had either left the TV or hall light on. We would swear up and down that it wasn't us. She told us, if we didn't stopped we had to sleep in our rooms.

I wasn't going anywhere near those rooms. I had a plan to stay awake that night. I was convinced it was one of my brothers leaving things on. I did end up falling asleep, but only to hearing footsteps running down the hall and the light being turned on. I yelled, "turn that light off!" It went off. Before I closed my eyes, I realized both of my brothers were asleep next to me. My body went numb. I shut my eyes and started to pray.

The next day my mom says, "I heard one of you in the hall."

"It wasn't me or Tony and Kevin." I said. "Someone was running down the hall, playing with the lights." She looked at me, but the look she gave me was, 'I already know'.

"I guess it was that little boy." She sighed. Then she told me about a seven year old boy drowning. About the pool closing and it was covered up and our trailer was on top of the pool. From that day on, we were afraid to be left alone.

One day we were on the couch watching TV. The lights and TV went off, but the bathroom light remained on. My brothers scared crying. My mom yelled "Look here little boy, you're not about to be scaring my kids, now you stop it!" The lights came back on. We didn't stay there too longer after that.

My mother and I still talk about it. My brothers claim they don't remember anything.
