[Serious] Who’s a stranger you’ll always remember?

In December of 2004, my Husband was in a coma (thankfully he recovered) but at the time, the doctors told me there was very little hope of his surviving. I was going back and forth to the hospital, not sleeping nor eating much and definitely struggling to cope. I went to a Wegman's grocery store (open 24 hours) very early one morning to pick up what I could tolerate to eat (some fruit and a bagel) this woman came up to me and smiled and asked if I had ever tried this specific bagel (called a Marco Polo) she was just really nice and whatever she said, made me laugh. I was initially shocked because in my mind, how could I be laughing at a time like this? But, what she didn't know was how very despondent I was. She was just kind. I have always tried to keep that in mind. It doesn't take a lot to smile or be nice to someone else because you might not know what they are dealing with.
