Look, you’re clearly trying to take a relatively straight forward problem and instead of looking at the obvious answer you’re searching for a way to blame it on Capitalism and “Puritanism” for whatever reason.

Regardless, saying “society” is to blame because of Capitalism/Puritanism but “society” is also the solution through some kind of Marxist community led sex Ed program is completely contradictory.

Also I feel like I should point out the Puritans didn’t think sexuality was shameful. They actually thought it was so sacred it should only be shared with 1 person for life. Which today sounds like zero fun but it’s not at all shameful
