True that but why is the CDC prevented from researching gun violence?

Why are we forced to sit on our hands and told this problem has no solution? How many people need to die before we as a country decide to get off our asses and do something about it?

You notice I didn't say we need to ban guns, I didn't say we need to put armed guards in every school. I don't know what the solution is but demanding people don't talk about it and instead send "thoughts and prayers" is neglect and down right toxic.

The time for waiting for this to blow over has long since passed and we need to fucking talk about the problem, confont this head on and fucking solve it.
