Shoto (E.Ryu) VS Bison, Yun and Yang Matchups

Bison and Yang both have relatively low damage and both are hard to escape pressure with. Take the initiative and go on the offensive. If you're E Ryu, one low forward fireball FADC combo will equalize or be more damage than any punishment you get from trying to go in. Bison's strength is on his normals and control imo, and if you can get pass that stand roundhouse, you should be able to constantly put the pressure on the Bison. Just watch out for the EX Psycho Crusher and try to punish it and when Bison does a head stomp, you can jump back forward it or focus it on the ground and chase him. Also, abuse your divekick against Bison. If you divekick, the player might mistime his stand roundhouse and you should be able to hit him.

Against Yang and Yun, I think E Ryu suffers a bit. It's pretty hard to reaction DP their divekicks and that their divekicks can beat your crouching fierce. Against Yang, I would try to zone him as much as possible. Its very hard for Yang to get in with your constant fireballs without going for the rolling kicks and as long as you can throw your fireballs at different times than you should be able to block the kick which is either a ton of damage or an FADC which is two meters spent. After that, abuse your normals since your normals have more range and the only normal that can outrange yours is Yang's stand strong but as long as you aren't at that range where your normals can't hit and his stand strong can, you should be able to constantly low forward fireball until you get a chance to FADC it.

Against Yun, I think E Ryu struggles. He can't really zone Yun as well as Yang because of EX shoulder being really fast and the fact that EX lunge punch is great at getting in. You should constantly be trying to throw fireballs so the EX lunge doesn't let him get in for free but you also have to predict the EX shoulder and try to predict when you can throw a fireball. Otherwise, once Yun gets in, it's hard for E Ryu to escape his pressure so I would probably try to predict the divekick and DP it or just DP FADC back when you want space.
