Should being racist now have an affect on you in 10+ years? /r/insanepeoplefacebook debates.

Lol OJ is like the opposite of someone who has escaped from his past; he got off on a murder charge because the prosecution was so damn riddled with racism and bias, and yet for the remainder of his life, he's still the black guy who got away with murder. He's still rich, which protects just about anyone from consequences, but he's never not "OJ the killer"; even long after he's dead.

Let's talk Trayvon Martin who got painted as a thug because he had a picture of him with a metal grill, and therefore deserved to be hunted and killed. Let's talk about Michael Brown whose rap sheet for selling stolen goods was justification to choke him to death. Let's talk about Botham Jean who had weed in his apartment, so that made it ok for some white bitch to come and kill him. Ahmaud Arbery was seen around construction sites, so that made it acceptable to lynch him. Right now people are rifling through Floyd's history to find some reason he deserved to get a knee on his windpipe.

Maybe I'll feel a little bad for these kids if they get strung up for waxing on the good old days when people like them owned people like me. Probably not, but maybe.
