Threatening someone is but it's pretty tough to prosecute. Alex Jones incited violence for years about victims of very famous crimes and yet he's only just finally getting what he deserves as far as a civil suit is concerned. People say publicly that bad things should happen to people all the time. It's a tricky thing to nail down which comments are illegal and which aren't.

You're going to have a tough time proving he actually wrote that all on his own and wasn't someone contracted as a campaign writer.

Fucking ignorant shits keep downvoting but it's pretty clear given the reports of how many threats of violence between former lovers or eventual mass shooters get ignored by law enforcement that prosecution of a threat is not easy.
