That would lead to retaliation and negatively affect our economy as well. Even in retaliation, China won't wage war on us it's only diverting us from our main focal issue i.e of COVID-19. At this point of crisis all we should care about is to find a cure for COVID-19, though there are lots of efforts that have been made or are going to be made. We shouldn't concern about economy because it can be improved in the next fiscal year, a lot of boost has already been seen in a lot of fields since the government initiated vocal for local initiative. But China can't really call us out on banning apps because they have been doing it for ages. True, China won't do anything behind banning of apps becuase it also has banned a lot of sites like facebook and other people mingling sites since the time those apps were launched and made their arrival even though they have kept alternatives for almost every app that is used worldwide and these decisions of banning apps didn't affect the countries that launched those apps.
