Should we start submitting complaints to NOA Corporate en masse?

Some people believe that they are holding back and there will be at least one more wave of preorders because of the overselling that has been so rampant in the past. I've been regularly sending NOA emails. And I will do another. It's not their fault that system crashes and stuff happen. But the store exclusive is just making things harder, and the only point of it is that they can make the stores pay for the right to have the exclusive. So make them next to impossible to come by for a few extra bucks. They act like they don't want to make these things rare, but yet they insist on doing things that drive the frenzy, have people buy a ton of them at once, even using friends and family to get around a limit, just to resell them at high prices. Some of this wave's preorders are already up on sites for resale for ridiculous amounts.

I started collecting these because they were fun and made me happy. They are becoming a lot less fun and are actually starting to sour me on the company as a whole. With them destroying a couple of my favorite franchises including Mario Party and Mario Golf (sorry the last one blew, I went back to Hot Shots), the way they handled the new3dsxl, especially the MM one and this, I am starting to feel like they don't care about their customers. They could have made data transfers better. NOA knows a lot of people trade in their systems. And there was definitely a shortage of those too.

I'm seriously close to selling my Nintendo stuff and giving my loyalty to the other companies. I love having access to everything because it allows me to experience the best everyone has to offer. But I don't like giving my money to a company who doesn't appreciate me as a customer.

The amiibo situation is just yet another example of how poorly NOA handles things.

And don't get me wrong. I'm fine with things being rare. If they are meant to be rare from the start. We expect SEs and CEs to be rare. MM new3dsxl was meant to be rare. We were told it was. We knew what to expect. But it really felt like some areas were just screwed and they are not taking into account the online world. Maybe to make it fair for everyone, on rare items, release so many at different times of day so everyone gets a shot.
