Some Dumb Piston Guns

Yes you can sell one with a shot out barrel at that price if you are a scumbag and are looking to flip a gun like that rather than do self maintenance on your rifle. Replacing the whole thing because one component is worn is stupid.

How is it stupid to save $700?

I can only imagine how you are with vehicles.

3 years max then gone unless it's a project vehicle

God forbid you get your own hands dirty to fix and maintain your equipment.

You really confuse me. How is cleaning not maintenance? Why would I put more money into a used item than is worth putting into it? It's like putting a brand new engine in a 10yr old car. Screw that. Sell the car and buy something new.

When referring to lasik laser eye surgery which is a very common and safe medical procedure in modern medicine. Really? Tin foil must be on sale.

No, my entire family other than myself is in medicine. It has not been around long enough to show lasting effects.

Shooting is one stress firearm attachments experience. You never know the reliability of a piece of equipment until you test it in as many conditions as it may realistically experience. That means in-climate weather conditions, being carried ,being dropped, getting dirty, and firing all types of ammunition and in volume.

Do YOU actually do this? Doubtful. You would have sold your garand if those are your standards. Like I said before, shooting is a hobby. I watch reviews and see what fits my wants. These guns have all been shown to be extremely reliable, even in the shit.

And yet you spent a fuck ton of money on things you have limited time with.

Not really. It's only around $25K worth of guns and accessories. FC sold a single gun package for $28K last week.

You are spending way more on toys than people who are serious and do need firearms for their job and practical uses.

Because those jobs pay shit. I use money from my job to add things to my collection as it is my hobby. Why should I settle for inferior products because X person in Y circumstance was issued crap?

Its like an average Joe buying and collecting super cars while the actual sponsored race car driver is in a everyday driver.

Maybe that race car driver should find a better sponsor or get a job where he can feed his hobby with quality equipment.

I can tell you are not buying things for practicality but rather to be gaudy and to show off on the internet.

I buy guns for these reasons: I enjoy shooting with friends. I want every gun from the handful of videogames I grew up with or the ones I play now with those friends. It's what we all collect. I want to have all of them and will work towards having all of them. I will probably not actually shoot 80% of them more than once and they will sit in safes for the rest of my life unless a friend wants to shoot one. The guns I have posted are guns that I regularly shoot, not the ones that just sit in the back of a safe.

Do you not collect things simply because you want to have them?
