You mention not thinking that iceblock is a POS etc. For whatever it's worth, you haven't come across as rude or offensive at all, at least not in my opinion; you're just aggressively asserting your differing position which is totally fair, to me. That's why I say thanks to you - it would be so much more productive if more dota discussion could function this way.
Regarding grade 3 to grade 5, probably your right. I try to take info from many different sources, because without paying for coaching I don't think many people will have an easy time of finding instruction precisely tailored to whatever level one might be at.
Using your metaphor, I feel as though I have some skills that are at grade 5, and others that are grade 1, and it balances out to a 3. I've been playing for some years, and though I enjoy the game immensely I only play casually because I'm a grown up and have too much life stuff going on. But, I read and I watch a fair bit of pro dota, and I feel like I understand the game better than I play it. Just the same, if you feel there is better teaching more geared towards my level, I'm all ears.
