Something most of you need to read regarding trash talking, Here is CLG's Coach defending TL Peter and TSM Locodoco

We knew at that point in time that Monte wasn't actually with CLG most of the time in person for obvious reasons (he had to be in Korea). We also knew he wasn't communicating with CLG during their games to help with pick and bans, etc. We also knew that despite the infamous "travel to Korea to train" plan did not yield anything positive. Furthermore, we knew and later confirmed, members of CLG were disgruntled with Monte's coaching (i.e Link's post, etc.). In addition, it was HEAVILY implied that other pros felt that Monte wasn't doing anything effective leading to the CLG collapse. In addition, due to pure time zone issues, it seemed very unlikely Monte could actually coach CLG, at the very least effectively- results seemed to confirm this.

Pool all of these things known at the time and later discussed and it seems very fair to have thought Monte did NOT coach CLG or at least did so extremely poorly. It was simply illogical he could stay as involved as a coach should due to his other commitments and physical location.

That criticism stemming from yet again another catastrophic failure of CLG garnered many posts that agreed with Regi because no other alternative was either given or seemed to be possible. We NOW know that it was mostly the players that had performance issues and were not super responsive to the coaching, not to mention there was very poor team chemistry. If CLG had gotten 2nd place or 3rd place, that tweet would have been way out of line and just a character attack. However, at the time, given what we saw and what we knew, it was, at least arguably, a deserved and objective criticism, albeit a bit emotionally charged.
