[Spoilers] Rey's lineage.

Oh, sure, they might be forced. I was looking at it more from a perspective of parallels between the characters rather than in-universe reasons why the two might be related. When Lucas was steering the ship with the prequels he went on and on about the films being "like poetry" and the similarities between Luke and Anakin's story arcs, as well as the whole series being a soap opera about the Skywalker family. Although the series is headed back in the direction of the original trilogy rather than that of the prequels it certainly seems like that so-called "poetry" is still somewhat in motion, considering that The Force Awakens was one hell of a tribute to the original three films. It'd be quite a twist if the series suddenly shifted to being about the Kenobi family. But I'm happy to admit it's far-fetched, haha.

To address your specific points, though: yeah, accents aren't genetic, but in the desert of Jakku I think it's fair to say that she'd be more likely to pick up an accent from her family than from the locals. This is entirely speculative, but it seemed as though the market in Jakku was just a place of exchange. There didn't seem to be any residential construction, so I can't imagine the people of Jakku having more influence in her accent than her immediate family. Rey lives in the middle of nowhere in a damaged, fallen AT-AT; if she had been living within a community of some sort when her family left I think it's safe to assume she would have stayed there instead of venturing out somewhere her family wouldn't know to find her.

Rey being a Kenobi doesn't rely on the animated series at all, other than that Obi-Wan was willing to leave the Order for a love interest. If you were to throw that out the window it's still reasonable to assume that, in voluntary exile away from the Empire and with the collapse of the Order, Obi-Wan would be absurdly lonely in the desert and would eventually seek companionship.

Also, the "mystery of what happened" is why I think Luke being her father is, indeed, too easy. With all signs pointing to Luke, as a viewer, it's not much of a mystery.
