I did a ton of online dating (it's how I met my boyfriend!). I never got stood up on a date but I've had some fucking doozies. One guy went completely off on me through text (before we ever even met up!) because I said I felt bad that I got a friend sick (I said "him"). He BLEW.UP. Calling me a slut and a cheater (what?) saying how he'd been nothing but nice to me (oh great) and that I was acting like a wild animal. I let him do his thing then politely said I no longer had any interest in meeting up, and "for the record, the friend I got sick is GAY - we shared drinks and that's how he got my flu, which I would have happily clarified if you asked. But your attitude and short fuse are extremely unattractive especially for someone I've never met." I shit you not he texted me the next day telling me to go out with him so he could show me what a nice guy he was.

Or there was the guy I hooked up with on a first date (I'm easy, sue me) and found out the next day he was a total asshole. As I'm driving him back to his car he candidly tells me this story about a girl he forced to have an abortion. Like I would find that hilarious.

Or the guy who I found out after hooking up had a girlfriend. That was a very, very shitty feeling.

I can think of a lot of dates I would have rather have been ghosted on then seen the man's true colors. Be happy you didn't waste any time or money on him.
