Stop! We’re driving people to the right side of the political spectrum

"Gossiping about someone with HIV or avoiding everyday contact with them makes it more challenging for people to tell others that they have HIV or to get tested for HIV. These things make it easier for HIV to spread

That's hillarious. As if we can just get rid of the stigma, and the spread of HIV will magically decrease. You clearly don't know much about HIV to begin with. If you know anything about HIV, you know a lot of people who have it don't know they have it. Not to mention it takes a while (at least 3 months) for it to actually start showing up on tests. So a person unknowingly, stigma or no stigma, could infect other people with HIV. That is actually how most people get infected with HIV, not because of stigma, but because they don't know they have HIV and unknowingly infect others, which go on to infect others. Any sensible person, if they know they have HIV, will tell their partner about it or anyone they plan on having sex with. And stigma is in place for a reason. Getting HIV is not a desirable thing, so it's no surprise there's a stigma surrounding it. And besides, if there's a stigma surrounding it, chances are you aren't gonna tell just anyone about your HIV status, only people you trust. So I'm confused as to how there can be any gossiping going on if you don't disclose your HIV status to just anyone.

Everything that is to be taught to students is in there. It does have a somewhat detailed section on HIV. Namely, what bodily fluids have the virus and how it is transmitted, but omits crucial facts that are important for students to know. Most teachers, especially the ones in Ontario, are largely incompetent. So I wouldn't really count on your claim that they won't "beat around the bush on any topic."
