I would have to say the dress code. I went to a high school where we didn't have a dress code that is typical in schools. As long as you didn't have cursewords, drug related pictures, or racist/bigoted quotes… They didn't care what you wore.

Just had to have your naughty bits covered.

But, my sister went to a school where they would use a ruler on the him of your skirt. They would make sure your pants were not too tight. You weren't allowed to wear leggings even if you had a long shirt on. And you would get demerits if you came to school wearing something they thought was tacky or not in style. If you wore something they deemed "distracting and abusive" you would have to go to the principals office and they would give you an outfit from their closet of shame.

And the type of stuff they got upset about, was someone wearing a pair of cargo shorts and a bright Hawaiian shirt. They said it didn't look good for the school and that he needed to wear serious clothing so he was not distracting. They made him wear a uniform uniform top and they called his parents to come pick up his outfit.
