Switzerland Approves Ban On Face Coverings In Public

I actually don't understand it either. The men are allowed to have multiple wives and the wives must be covered at all times in public.

I currently have the following opinions which I would like challenged because I don't want to be ignorant.

The wives must be covered at all times to prevent other men being attracted to her.

It hinders communication with other people because facial expressions and body language is hard to read.

Not having your face covered while in public improves "security".

I don't think it's wrong of the Swiss to ask for this imo. It's not actually that absurd because Europe has a culture where all faces are visible in public. I believe that if you're visiting/living in foreign country you should try follow their most socially important customs as long as no harm is done in anyway to anyone. I would expect the same from a foreign person visiting my country.

I don't think that the citizens of any Islamic state would be happy to see a woman wearing a top that slightly reveals her cleavage in public. So why is it wrong of the Swiss to bring in this law?
