TFAB's Weekly BFP Post -December 11, 2016. Got your BFP? Post your story here!

I got my positive last week, but haven't gotten around to posting this til today, plus I still kinda don't believe it. I've been lurking here for over a year and started posting when we started officially trying.

I went off the pill October 16th. My period came back with a vengeance November 8th (maybe I should have seen that as a sign for the election?).

I started temping and tracking and using OPKs from the get-go. I always thought I would want to be relaxed about it at first but I really enjoyed all the data and felt very in control by tracking everything. Plus my husband was super into it as well, so it was fun to bond over.

After my period we started having sex every other day, then every day starting CD14. I'm sure this helped. I had great CM CD14-17 and FF told me I ovulated on CD16. I started testing on 8DPO because I couldn't help myself. I didn't have any symptoms.

On 10DPO right before bed I had some killer heartburn. I get heartburn a lot but this felt different, and I remembered my mom saying she had it bad with all her pregnancies. That's when I had an inkling.

Sure enough on 11DPO I had a faint line. I (and my husband) couldn't really believe it. I kept testing through the week and the line got progressively darker, so it seems like this is the real deal. Aside from sore boobs and a little tiredness (which isn't anything new), I don't have any symptoms, really.

I am happy it didn't take long, but I did really enjoy this community-it's supportive with just the right amount of snark. Saying "good luck" sounds a little insensitive and blasé but I really do hope everything goes well for all of you.
