Is there like a good reason/argument as to why felons can’t vote?

Representative Republic/unofficial oligarchy.

In case you didn't know. The people's vote doesn't really count for much.

It's actually the ultra wealthy, and corporations that have the most sway. Other countries have protections have protections against this. But the US definitely doesn't.

So the ultra wealthy, and corporations rule this country while giving the people the illusion that our choices matter.

The electoral college, and lobbying is a big part of that. Since. One president can have the popular vote, and still lose because of the electoral college.

And they spend millions on lobbying groups for their own self interests. And they pay off the representatives.

Basically. It's all very far from democracy. Which is for the people by the people. But the people have very little power in the US.
