I haven’t had it. My gf hasn’t had it. Her mom has, her sister and sister’s gf have, several our closest friends have, friends’ kids have, my dad has.

Two co-workers in my section at work (one the manager) have, but the other 8 have avoided it.

My gf has just finished chemo and spent over 2 weeks in hospital (just got out yesterday) for a staph infection and cellulitis and is still on antibiotics. Her immune system is wrecked. I don’t know how we’ve avoided it this long. Maybe because we don’t make bad choices plus a bit of luck.

But I’m gonna keep masking and avoiding risky situations. Or maybe I’ve had it and didn’t know. That’s extremely unlikely.

Now I’m gonna go knock wood. In a forest.
