I work in events and I've been having a back-and-forth with this guy. All the major events in our calendar have been moved to late 2021/early 2022. He is emailing me insisting that the planned event is taking place in April 2021, because he's been reading old articles about it.

I've linked him to several news reports and the official statement to say that this event is taking place in late 2021. Every so often, he seems to accept it and then he comes back a couple of weeks later with "no it's taking place in April because I've seen it everywhere".

That's all well and good, but I'll get in trouble if this guy prepares for an event in April, books the hotel and travel, and then arrives to find an empty venue... But I can't seem to get through to him.
