When we had this tutor last year, we had to teach ourselves the content she was supposed to cover because she was so poor. She got quite shirty when a few of us raised our concerns with how we were finding it. The tutor told us to teach ourselves the content at home & just use the classes for revision. Then why are we paying to come in of an evening?! If we wanted to do that, we would have all done distance learning.

So I'm not happy to take out the advanced learner loan for more than £2k when I would have to try & manage with that on top of work & doing up the house I've just bought.
