TIL if you're under 18 in China you can only play games up to 90 minutes on weekdays and three hours on weekends.

I remember once I had to go with one of my sponsors employees to some government building as I had to change my Kuwait visa to a new passport, he said he had to get some stuff done for other people so just stay with him but forget anything I saw.

He proceeded to go from one office to the next for some signiture he needed, everytime he greeted the government employee from each office he shook hands with folded stack of 20KD notes, probably around 200KD total (650usd).

This is probably the least harmful corruption I experienced, the worst was young women being bought for around 3000 USD without them having any choice in what or who they were going to be doing and their passports held by their 'buyer'. If you think slavery died a long time ago, you are mistaken!
