It's time for all L.A. farmers markets to accept food stamps

I'm busy saving lives bro. I actually contribute to society. When you save one life, come talk to me. Otherwise, you can keep living in fantasy world as I continue to make the world we call reality a better place.

I know the process to get social aid, I've been laid off in the past. Being unemployed is awful and the worst experience I've ever gone through as an adult. But you know what I did? I kept calling places every day and went in person over and over, and within 5 weeks I had another job. I worked my ass off in college and graduated to work where I'm at today. I paid my own schooling and spent months without a day off. People are just lazy or not smart enough to get out of poverty. Why should we reward people who show they have no intention to become a better member of society? I've been at the bottom, I know exactly what it takes to escape poverty. If your $10 an hour job at Walmart sucks, look for another job. You bug stores, restaurants, etc. everyday with phone calls asking for work, you show up in person with your resume every day and dressed for success. Eventually someone will give you a job if you deserve it. There are all these resources online showing you how to get started on developing a trade/skill. You have libraries that most countries can only dream about. It's fucking sad some people are poor due to circumstances, but I have zero sympathy for any able bodied person who can't put in the work in college to get to the next economic class. And don't give me the people with degrees can't find jobs, that's what happens when you major in something that isn't skilled. Medicine and computers are the future, anybody who doesn't study in those two fields is wasting their time in college
