Is it too late to learn how to play an instrument?

I have taught hundreds of people to play since the late 80s. Of course you can still learn. A few tips. Put the tips of your fingers in rubbing alcohol before and after you play to kill pain and help the callus build faster. You can just tip the bottle up around your finger in the top. - If you have limited time, play 20 minutes a day, 5 days a week versus an hour and a half one time a week. - If you get discouraged, listen to something you want to learn and just take your time and have fun. A little discouragement is okay but walk away if you get angry. Or you'll teach yourself to dislike your time playing. - Find a friend that plays to help. And go about it systematically with a program of some sort. Don't meander around. Think of it like math....you don't just learn random things. You go step by step. - I have taught a deaf and blind person to play guitar. If they can do it, so can you.
