I mean it’s just a shame that the only sport they want to take part in is definitely all about physicality. Actually, almost all competitive sports rely on a physical edge of some kind to get ahead or win - it’s not always being bigger either.

For the sake of getting on with our lives, and the idea that ‘you can’t always get what you want’, in this situation would it not make more sense for this person to find another sport? We’d say that if they sucked at the sport too. Try something else.

I don’t think this is about a person being transgender, but perhaps more about the situation making it unfair for everyone. We can get through life by acknowledging that this will happen, and it’s ok. Just move on. That’s life.

I’m pretty sure I’ll be seen as the bad guy for saying this.
