I have two that are pretty dumb and a touch skeezy. It was back in the day right before mobile apps really blew up, so there weren't really dating apps but there were dating websites-- so I was a touch more naive back then and a touch less aware of the ~dangers of the interwebs~ than I am today.

FIRST

I'm Asian and 5'8", so a little on the tall side for your average woman, and definitely taller than your average Asian woman. It came up in early dates fairly often so I didn't think much of it when this guy brings it up on the website chat. He just kept bringing it up over and over regardless of what I tried to talk about. "I bet you're really tall in high heels" "Your legs would look great in really high stilettos" asian asian asian tall tall tall heels heels heels.

It was definitely weird to fit into this guy's very specific fetish. I'd been fetishized for my race before, which is already a lame deal, but his tall Asian in heels fixation was a new level. Like dude, at least try to pretend to be a normal potential date before springing the sex object stuff on me.

SECOND

So I get matched up with this guy. He's good looking, has a good user profile, one of this pictures is him and his baby niece, and I was a few years out of any serious relationship and had recently had a string of very unremarkable hookups, so this guy was total ovary detonation. SPLOOSH motherfuckers, and all that.

Really quickly into the matchup, he suggests instead of using the site's built-in messaging system, that we should chat over G-chat. I agree a little too quickly. The conversation starts out normally, but then he mentioned porn and asked what I thought about it. I don't have a problem with porn, and said as much. He sends me a link which turns out to be a porn of a petite blonde girl and two huge black guys, and the guy I'm chatting with starts messaging about how exciting it is to watch porn and holding off on orgasming for as long as you can. The way he said it made it seem like he was definitely masturbating at that moment.

So I message something along the lines of "WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU?" and he responds something like "ok ok sheesh don't get so worked up. Let's keep chatting." I go "Uh, NO, that was really fucked up why and would you think I'd want to keep talking to you?" To which he goes "Ugh fine I won't bring it up again."

So gross. In hindsight I should have saved or screen capped the conversation and reported him to the dating site, if only to create a record of him being a total skeez in case anything happened with anyone else. At the time I was so grossed out that I just wanted to forget it happened.
