I’m sure this is going to go really well because it seems we both are going to hold hands and have a really positive discussion about this, but 3 people can tell me whatever they want about anything. Your side is ready to believe anything that locks up your “enemy”, and you still have faith in American media so when they say that 3 people have knowledge of an email, however it’s not disclosed who they are and we don’t have the email to read, that’s still good enough for you. People email all the time- I’m excited to see what it actually contains, because who knows? Maybe your side was right all along and finally some rock solid evidence will appear that will get you what you want. And unlike your fantasies of Trump’s cult like following- the people who wanted an honest government will most likely abandon someone who really has done something against the United States that they care about so much.

Or maybe, (just maybe) there’s a lot of news organizations out there that know that if they just keep pumping out negative news about the President, they will get the clicks and ad revenue they need to stay relevant, because half the population is pissed off their side didn’t win. So if Trump eats fried chicken a different way, or if he “didn’t actually visit a victim in a hospital”, or how paid medical leave is suddenly bad for women now that the president supports it, or how everyone thinks Russia “hacked the election” and we need special prosecutors because there could have been massive manipulation of voter fraud, so the president pulls voter records to investigate it and all of the sudden it’s a breach of privacy to citizens.

All I’m saying is the left has been ready to grab torches and pitchforks ever since November 8th, and if the media can find an excuse to continue letting you live in a “resistance” fantasy world and get paid while doing so, they will. That being said, there’s been a metric shitton of claims of evidence and when it’s time to pony up, the media routinely comes up short.

We’ve now gone from a “blackmail dossier” the Russians were using to manipulate the president because the president is literally a Russian Literally Hitler Stooge all the way to his son receiving an email saying someone has dirt on a political opponent, and all we have is some people repeating the email to a news org- they don’t even have the physical email in hand. So much like anything else, once we’ve got something in hand we can evaluate. Until then it’s the left saying “DRUMPFY IS FINISHED” and the right disagreeing with that.

You won’t agree with me but from my perspective there’s some grasping going on and as each claim either comes out debunked, or is much more of a nothingburger than it was originally hyped up to me, the media loses credibility each time they come out with what’s supposed to be a “bombshell”. You used to have to corroborate a story across multiple, on the record sources and then have tangible evidence of something in hand before it was a news story because reporting hard facts mattered. Now, on both the right and the left, you literally can report that 3 people told me that Drumpf is getting cuffs because they like, totally read this email that they can’t send directly to the press. Oh! And they need to be anonymous to cause it’s dangerous in the streets cause Drumpf is a dictator and will kill people if his dirty laundry gets leaked. I’m sorry, but even if trump Jr isn’t directly refuting something, we’re all going to need to see this email and make the decision to string up Literally Satan-Hitler from the Washington Monument.

TL:DR: we’re fighting on the internet. We both have our views, which we both think are stupid. You and I will most likely never meet, and our argument on the internet proves nothing. You’ll believe what you’ll believe and so will I, and we’ll die on our own hills defending it despite it changing nothing. Wee!
