it's about a political expression that the unwillingness to change your behavior for the convenience of others is a good character trait.

I sincerely disagree. I think South Park criticizes self-righteousness more than anything. And you really can't pretend that the left is not guilty of self-righteousness. I mean I'm a pretty liberal guy and I can tell you that the left is WAY more insufferably self-righteous than the right. Just go on Twitter and disagree with someone about some aspect of intersectional feminism and you'll see what I'm getting at.

In fact, the whole "unwillingness to change your behavior for the convenience of others is a good character trait." theory can be pretty easily debunked with the High School Musical parody episode, where the phrase "Do what you wanna do! Just make sure that what you're doing is what's cool and popular with everyone else" was uttered as the driving satire of the episode. If you really wanted to look too far into it you could say that the episode highlights the fake individuality in pop-culture and underlines the significance of being yourself, even if that is inconvenient to others.

it's like trying to say something without actually accepting the consequences.

How so? I really don't understand that.

Regardless, you can see the outline of a political ideology when you watch all of the episodes, and that's a huge bit of evidence that the creators fully mean what they say.

Again. you might be able to discern what they'e saying if you REALLY look into it, but a lot of the time, the episodes are centered more towards humor than satire. This is a problem the writers run into all the time. They make an episode that has a certain message, but then when they make another episode that has a somewhat conflicting message, people from the other side get mad and feel betrayed. Ultimately, it's a show intended to make people laugh, and if you take it too seriously, you're gonna have a bad time.
