It seems paranoid to you because you haven't had someone try to contact your place of work, or your family, and bother them because they didn't like something you had to say. This happens to plenty of people, and I am passionate about internet anonymity, because of my job in security. I don't mind giving background when requested as this will be gone soon, but you didn't do that, you assumed where it's likely I sit politically based on practically no information at all other than me being careful in my online identity and questioning a single argument on covid/vaccine dangers. I certainly wouldn't call that honesty, I would call that more so paranoid.
