I’ve been abandoned, and neglected by the NHS. Please help me get my spine fixed. Please watch and share the video/fundraiser. Thank you so much.

I'm someone who is disabled due to an accident during spinal surgery and there are two things I say which may or may not help:

  1. Find someone who can advocate for you and navigate the NHS system if you are unable to do this yourself. It is a long and hard slog as hospitals and their departments often do not talk to each other and you will fall through the cracks if you don't push for the treatment you need.
  2. You will need mental health support to come to terms with your situation. Grasping for the next cure when mentally you are in a bad place will only prolong your suffering.

Going back to 1 - you need to find out what Kings is up to but be prepared for a continued wait because routine treatment in many places has stopped due to the pandemic. I'm not sure how productive the private system is at the moment as its usually NHS consultants doing the work anyway.
