[Vent] How do you study while depressed?

I see, sounds like quite a scheduling nightmare. Ideally you’d see a psychiatrist, but family doctors are trained in treating depression too. They may be able to offer something if you qualify. They may recommend an SSRI. And since they take 1-2 weeks, in some cases a month, to kick in, whatever they may prescribe could act as a bridge until you see a psychiatrist. When you do, they can make finer adjustments to your meds.

As for the therapy side, I would see him as much as you can. Your therapist does not sound the most reliable. For that I am sorry. Do you have the ability to see another person outside of your school network? There are therapists that may take your insurance.
