Walk on Water breakdown

That was an incredibly insightful analysis, both into the rhyme scheme and the comprehension of it.

I wish he had included the final "Bitch, I wrote Stan" section though, as I feel that is what ties the entire song together. It serves as a reminder that Em sees himself as one of the GOAT's, but more notably, it also illustrates that he was able to write a song like Stan because he's been in that same frame of mind (and likely still is).

He knows what it's like to have such an unparalleled level of adoration for someone who inspires him, only to inevitably reach a point as a fan himself of being disappointment when that enthusiasm is not satisfied. Now, he's on the other side of that dynamic, and trying to find a way of expressing that he'll make a tightrope out of twine or otherwise do whatever it takes to deliver on the unrealistic standards people hold for him.

That's not to say we should expect anything less in the results that have yet to come though. He built his empire by being uncanny time and time again, even when it was unreasonable to expect lightning to strike the same place twice, threece... thrice... whatever, I hate these things.

tl;dr That was a dope video.
