A 16 year old flower girl would be WEIRD. I would personally not have her as a flower girl. JB if she wants, and if not she can sit with her parents as a guest. As a bride this is YOUR day. You are not obligated to coddle this girl because that is the normal. No flower petals, no poofy dress, none of that. You need to put your foot down. Me aside, if this was a friend of mine in your situation, I would tell them how absolutely ridiculous this sounds. Truthfully, if you do not feel she will be and act mature enough to even be a JB, just follow your gut. AGAIN it is YOUR WEDDING! You are by no means obligated to cater to the needs of a 16 year old wanting to be a flower girl , it is childish.
