The Weekly No Question is Dumb Thread- May 09, 2019

Looking for suggestions (yes I've read all the faqs)

I am about 2 month+ in. (was longer but realized I was using a leave in product that was not CG friendly)

I've reset washed with live clean argan oil shampoo.

I use tresemme coconut Botanique Nourish & Replenish Conditioner.

I've tried(trying) Shea moisture (moisture retention cond. raw shea butter) I find with this my hair gets heavy and greasy feeling quick.

I've tried co-washing for 2-3 weeks, my hair gets too greasy. So, I'm trying a reset once a week with the LC argan, but the sulphates may be too harsh and dry my hair out.

My hair doesn't like straight oil like olive etc. It makes it stiff and greasy, even with minimal amounts.

Not sure what to try next. I'm hoping to find a routine that works because my hair does not feel or look like the hair of a young woman.

I've got breakage, it's thinner (but coarse), gets greasy, but dry, if that makes sense

Hair type: 2C.

Good to note: I was never into styling, makeup, dressing nice, always a tomboy. Over the years thats changed now that I'm almost 30, I'm digging feeling a little more womanly lol. Getting my hair to look nice is my last step. I've never worn my hair down beyond a handful of times. It's always pulled back and shittily bunned up.

Thanks for looking! It's about shoulder length. roughly layered
