I have a colleague approximately 10 years my senior who is so charming and objectively attractive that for the longest time, almost out of spite, I have refused to pay him much attention or acknowledge that I have always felt an odd sort of kinship with him. Not necessarily a romantic connection, more like an immediate sense of “we think alike and I know your game.” It has almost felt like acknowledging any of the foregoing and letting it soften me toward him would be too much like letting him win, but I digress.

He is very courteous and polite, but always more formal and less talkative with me than others. I chalked this up to disinterest, because he seems like the type who would have more than enough numbers in his little back book. On a whim I asked my deck “how does he see me?” and pulled 3 cards (I typically take 3 cards and try to read them in the aggregate rather than past/present/future.) I then asked “what feelings, if any, does he have for me?” and pulled 3 more. The cards were as follows:

If anyone has the spare time I’d love to have your insight. It seems a little heavy-handed for someone I have never interacted with outside of work, right? Is my deck trolling me? Have I tainted the reading with my own feelings? What do you make of the 3 of wands? Any and all input would be appreciated!
